Active Projects
FBIphone - Frozen Bubble iPhone
Frozen Bubble is a Bust-a-Move type game released on open source systems. The game has been completely rewritten from Perl to Objective-C, utilizing the iPhone SDK (AudioQueues, CoreAnimation).
RhapsodyX - RSS Scrubber for Last.fm
RX is a small app that resides in the OSX menubar that submits listened-to tracks (scrobbles) to http://last.fm. XML parsing is used to obtain the tracks that have been listened to, and last.fm’s submission protocol was implemented in ObjC using the published specification.
School Projects
VisualizationFun - Audio Visualizations for OSX
Created visualizations for a CG2 quarter-long project. Wrote own player using AudioQueueServices, and created a particle system in OpenGL. Used FFTW for Fast Fourier Transforms. Presentation/Slides available at http://cg2.elrepositorio.com/project/
Space Explorers
Software Engineering class project: "An educational spelling game that will teach grade school students grades K-5 spelling with an easy to use interface." Worked in group of 5 with various project roles and together created a Java/Swing game. Applied SE design principles and practices in this quarter-long project.
