Honestly this is the best way to prevent piracy, $35/mo for Photoshop is definitely something that people can swallow without resorting to piracy. I wonder how many copies there are out there that are pirated? Like the article suggests I imagine that Adobe sees the relatively strong offerings in Acorn/Pixelmator/whatever is on Windows and sees the need to compete pricewise. Everybody wins!
